Rachel Rauch and Kim McCarthy show off their CJE plaques at the JEA/NSPA convention in Washington, D.C. They met at the Reynolds High School Journalism Institute and continue support and encourage each other. McCarthy urged Rauch to teach a session on infographics at the convention and attended Rauch’s session on creating multiple publications with one staff. Rauch is a former mentee; her mentor was Linda Barrington.
